  • 50 Caliber 400 Gr Plated Bullet

.50 Caliber (.500) 400 Grain Round Nose Flat Point Plated Bullets ( Price range: $18.00 through $76.00)

I shoot a lot of 500S&W, and 400gr bullets are my favorite as a perfect blend of weight and speed. This particular TMJ has become my go-to choice, thanks to its consistent weight, absolutely stellare accuracy potential and low price. It'll also deliver fairly amazing speed with the right powder, and I've found my revolvers do their best with this bullet using 4100 or Enforcer. I've fired off over 1,000 of these bullets since discovering Evergreen last October, and haven't had a single dud. Great bullet!

  • 50 Cal 300 Gr RNFP Plated Bullet

.50 Caliber (.500) 300 Grain Round Nose Flat Point Plated Bullets ( Price range: $17.00 through $72.00)

OK, last review (probably). In just a few weeks, Evergreen's 300gr RNFP plated .500 caliber bullet has become the superstar of my loads. I've tried it with H110, N110, Enforcer and Auto Pistol (Shooters World), and at velocities a low as 1,000 FPS out of a 3.5" barrel, to 2,200 FPS from a 20" barrel, and everything in between -- out of 5.125", 6.5", 8.375" and 10.5" barrels -- and I can't find a load that isn't single-hole accurate. Whether out of a Taurus, Smith & Wesson or T/C, this bullet will give you a dead nuts accurate load, with either a taper or a roll crimp, to boot! Just set the length to crimp at the cannelure, and you're good-to-go. And oh yeah, cost per bullet is on par (or less!) than cast/coated bullets... there's just no way to go wrong here. Buy 'em up -- you won't be sorry.
